Project Description Narrative (1,000 character limit)
ERW a non-federally recognized Tribal entity is currently in the process of a major revitalization. With an unknown number of our descendants scattered out across the region, ERW is working to reconnect our people, to reengage in cultural practices on our ancestral homelands, and to revitalize Wailaki Culture for the benefit of our youth, our greater communities, and future generations.
This project would help ERW develop a high-quality website, allowing us to reach a wider audience, build community, increase membership, and distribute information and resources. This project would also provide consultations on business operations for 501(c)3 entities allowing us to understand, navigate, and take on more financial responsibilities. Lastly, this project would provide technical assistance in helping to create a necessary legal document for ERW to engage in co-management opportunities with federal, state, and local partners. This will ensure ERW's success in future endeavors.

Project Types
This project will support and improve the capacity of the ERW non-profit to serve Tribal members and the community. We are requesting help to grow our organization’s capacity to handle money and pursue funding. ERW needs assistance in understanding and navigating our 501c3, to provide the best opportunities to the Wailaki people.
This TA grant will allow ERW to have a way to provide necessary information to the Wailaki people in the area as well as those outside of the native boundary lands. Currently the Wailaki people are without recognition, without access to our ancestral homeland, without a real voice. We need help finding our people and bringing them together, strengthening our voice.
